PeaceCrew offers a selected series of archival prints of the highest quality possible. Click on each painting image below to see archival print sizes offered, plus behind-the-scenes descriptions of how individual paintings emerged.For each archival print size offered, the painting image will be that ordered print size -- minus an approximately 3/4 - 1.5" border, determined by aspect ratio. The archival print image plus the border dimensions equal the size of the print ordered.
PeaceCrew hand signs each custom-produced archival print, beneath the image, in the white border. Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered by PeaceCrew. Each purchased Archival Print ships with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
STATE-OF-THE-ART DIGITIZED ART REPRODUCTION:
The CRUSE Synchrontable Scanner has been the absolute industry standard for years -- equipped with state-of-the-art technology to digitize and reproduce originals including acrylic and oil paintings in high- absolute-color fidelity, offering maximum quality for digital preservation. Original paintings are exposed to the lowest possible lighting intensity thanks to the latest LED technology. The digital copies are absolutely faithful to the original’s color and reproducible in high resolution.Only 25 of these Synchron scanners are owned in the U.S., including The Smithsonian and The Metropolitan Museum Of Art. Fortunately, a Synchron scanner is located in the NYC/Tri-State Area and available to PEACECREW. The highest resolution possible of PEACECREW's digitized paintings is thus achieved using this Synchrontable large-format flatbed scanner with a table size of 1.5 x 2.5 m (59 x 98 in).
COLOR CORRECTION AND FIDELITY:
The Synchron scanned images are color corrected by expert human hand and human eye, and involves the artists, who select and approve all color corrected scans and final digitized reproductions. Thus, the highest resolution and the highest image quality that is maximally true to the original paintings is guaranteed.ARCHIVAL INKS PRINTED ON ARCHIVAL PAPER:
The state-of-the-art inks used to produce each print are specifically designed to be archival, are are formulated for the best longevity. Images are printed on Canson Rag Photographique Archival Paper; this ink/archival paper combination over time maximally minimizes fading and yellowing, per replicated scientific tests.LOCALLY-PRODUCED SCANS + ARCHIVAL PRINTMAKING + PACKAGING + SHIPPING:
